Peter Spencer is a northern-based writer who has worked across genres and been fortunate enough to collaborate with some brilliant artists. Since 2012 he has written three produced indie feature films including the screen adaptation of All The Ordinary Angels, the Pearson-Award-winning stage play by Nick Leather, featuring Mark Bonnar, Lucy Gaskell and Rebecca Eastham.
Peter wrote a feature-length period bio-drama for director Louise Hooper and for producer Mark Forstater adapted a true-life adventure book into a feature screenplay.
He wrote the thriller Cause/Effect and numerous project treatments for the Gary Kurtz/ Christopher McHugh partnership at Marlin Entertainment. Peter has written for producer Rachel Richardson-Jones and director Frances Lea and with Stuart Wright co-wrote the time-loop horror Vacant Possession.

With BBC director Jay Robey (Newsround, Drip), Peter co-created the crime series Shadow Child and the crypto-currency thriller mini-series, Curr€ncy.
