Kristen is an American film and television writer based out of London. She has written R-Rated comedies about complex, interesting people behaving badly, mostly women. Currently, she is developing a TV project loosely based on her own life, which someone has called a “trauma comedy” (it was her therapist).
She studied writing at UCLA, where she developed her first feature, a satire of Hollywood and fame culture, and later sold the project to Paramount Pictures. Her second feature was optioned to a producer at Netflix, and was a comedic reimagining of Indecent Proposal.
Kristen is also getting her Master’s in Creative Writing from Cambridge, where she is working on a YA novel.
She’s been shortlisted for The Writer’s Lab US, Funny Women Writing Awards, and Disney’s Storytellers Program, and her mom has called her work a ‘revelation.’ She’s repped in the US by WME and a member of the WGA.
