Helen Culver is a diverse screenwriter in film and television and also has the additional writing scope of lyricist and children’s author – with illustrator thrown in for good measure.
Her screenplay slate includes genres of Drama, Sci-Fi, Thriller, Action, Comedy and Biographical.
After completing a Raindance Screenwriting Course in 2018, Helen was invited to attend the Oscar Nicholl Fellowship ceremony held in Los Angeles the following year, due to receiving positive feedback from the Academy in regards to one of her screenplays.
Helen’s passion in life is creative writing and she’s currently focusing on a select number of projects, which are listed below:
- ‘Natural Selection’ – TV Series (Comedy)
- An exasperated Health and Safety Manager steers her team of misfits through a construction project whilst trying to avoid jail.
- ‘The Girl on The Moon’ – Feature Length Screenplay (Drama)
- A grieving man meets an ethereal woman on the moon who helps him through his trauma.
- ‘Apple Acre Stables’ – Series of Illustrated Children’s Chapter Books.
- The Stable Girl takes her horses around the world for exploration and adventure.
