Biography

David is a screenwriter from North London. He graduated with an BA (Hons) Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Leeds in 2001, and started writing screenplays the year after. Having attended one of the excellent residential screenwriting retreats with the Arvon Foundation, he completed his first screenplay for television, The Eyes of the North, a six-part supernatural detective drama set in England.

He is currently working on his next screenplay, a modern-day retelling of The Count of Monte Cristo, and is also just putting the finishing touches to his debut novel. Outside of screenwriting, David co-runs a small independent record label and is passionate about Film, TV and Music.
