Biography

Sophie Cullen is a multi-award-winning beauty journalist and brand consultant who has worked across the national press, women’s glossies, weeklies and digital publications. Most recently, Sophie was the Beauty Editor of Conde Nast Brides, where she headed up the market-leading print title. Overseeing all beauty content across print, online, live events and social – with a total social following of nearly four million.
As an authority in beauty and health Sophie now writes for leading titles: Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue Japan, Conde Nast Glamour, Popsugar, The Evening Standard, The Daily Mail, Fabulous and Women’s Health. Sophie’s portfolio includes in-depth, science-based, beauty and broad-ranging health, fitness and wellbeing features. As well as writing, she also has experience with commissioning and editing. She spent many years as a reporter backstage at the international shows, producing trend content and reports for BRIDES, Glamour and GQ.
Sophie is also the co-founder of the biggest bridal beauty event in the UK -The Bridal Beauty Festival, which takes place twice a year and features brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Kersatase, Pixi, Decelor, Penhaligon’s, Dr Sebagh as well as many others. She is also a lecture on the beauty short course and the beauty BA course at Conde Nast College.
With extensive experience in video, Sophie has produced numerous trend-based shoots and how-to videos with artists including Charlotte Tilbury, Lisa Potter Dixon, Hannah Martin and Amy Conway. She also has experience with public speaking and chairing panel talks with brands Bobbi Brown, Liz Earle Glamglow and Becca. Which has paved the way for her next project – Sophie will be developing a beauty related TV series with WGM and which will feature some of the best brands and names in the industry.
