Tara Gray is an Irish–Australian writer, performer, and occupational therapist living in the Blue Mountains (Australia) with her family. Tara also lectures in Sydney, where she guides OT students through the mysteries of neuroscience.
Her fiction is rooted in place and shaped by character, threaded with dark humour and emotional resonance. Her professional life in health, dementia, and palliative care often slips into her work.
She has a long-standing fascination with archaeology, especially Irish and Scottish Neolithic stone sites. In her ‘spare’ time, she can be found digging in the garden, drinking Barry’s tea, wandering bush tracks, or overthinking with great dedication
