Sophie Anderson enjoyed a career in TV production in London before working with her husband to set up an online software business. Her debut novel, The Butterfly Garden, was published by Bookouture in 2020, her second novel, The Sapphire Cove, came out the following year. Sophie writes about secrets and families and was inspired by the story of her own family for her third book, set at the women’s internment camp in the Isle of Man during the Second World War. She lives in East Sussex with her husband, four children, two cocker spaniels and three cats.
