Ruth Allen lives and works in St Just, West Penwith with her husband and two children. Ruth’s background is in research and education, with a particular passion for Further Education and Lifelong Learning. Ruth is currently writing fiction alongside finishing her PhD, all whilst sat in her shop that is both a gallery showcasing local wildlife artists and a curated selection of books celebrating nature writing, local authors and her own particular favourites. Passionate about place, her fiction and PhD sit beautifully alongside each other and are both inspired by Ruth’s other love, tramping the cliffs and moors, whatever the weather.
