Biography

Robert E. Brody is an award-winning screenwriter, director, and novelist based in Los Angeles. A Gold Prize winner and two-time finalist at the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards, his body of work spans acclaimed short films and feature screenplays, earning over twenty-five festival awards and screenings at premier venues including the TCL Chinese Theatre and Regal Cinemas.

Before transitioning full time to storytelling, he worked as an exotic animal handler on major productions such as Men in BlackThe Believers, and Tales from the Darkside – a career that informs the unpredictable energy and realism of his cinematic voice.

Though a lifelong devotee of science fiction and horror, his recent work turns toward urgent themes of environmental collapse, human rights, and survival under pressure. His latest award-winning short is currently in feature development, with a diverse slate of projects actively in progress. He is also completing his debut novel, to be released alongside a companion screenplay.
