Casey King is a pseudonym for Marie O’Halloran, a Cork-based crime writer and current Reader in Residence for Cork County Council Library and Arts Service, a brief that combines her skills in writing, facilitating, coaching, mindfulness, as well as her love of reading. Her first two novels in her Dublin-based, female-led gritty gangland series, Deceit and Exposed, were published by Joffe Books. Marie holds a Masters (MSc) in Mindfulness Based Wellbeing and an associate degree (H Dip) in Coaching/Coaching Psychology as well as a Diploma in Policing Studies. As a former Irish police officer, she provides consultation with regards to Irish police procedure to crime writers.
