Nicholas began acting as a teenager when he joined the Liverpool Playhouse Youth Theatre. He continued to act at Liverpool Hope University, studying English Literature and Drama. After university, Nicholas wrote a short film, Friendly Fire, which was screened at BAFTA to much acclaim. He then wrote for Lime Pictures (Hollyoaks), before winning a place on a screenwriting course with Eon Productions, the producers of James Bond. Following this, Nicholas decided to return to his first love, acting. He studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), where he was sponsored by Sir Ian McKellen, Jeremy Irons, Tom Hiddleston and Richard Wilson. Nicholas is also a four-time finalist with Monologue Slam UK, writing and performing his own monologues. A keen guitarist, he teaches at The Beatles Story, Liverpool. He also teaches a Shakespearean acting class with the Actors’ Lab in Liverpool, Manchester and Chester.
