Amanda’s past work includes writing 23 eps of Apple/BBC TV and script editing, ghostwriting and punching up scripts and pitch decks for 90+ film and TV development projects including for the BBC, Channel 4, and Zero Gravity Group.
Her current projects in development include two comedy projects with Olivia Colman and Ed Sinclair’s indie South of the River, one with Colman and her dream comedy director Tristram Shapeero attached.
She has a working partnership and multiple TV and film projects in development with Shapeero, including a US comedy project with Carol Kolb (Brooklyn 99/Community/The Onion) and an Italian-based romantic comedy.
Alongside is a partnership and three projects with Disney and Cartoon Network animating legend Travis Blaise and his studio Sketch2Animate.
She also has an ongoing partnership with Jadey Duffield, Director and Founder of DreamMore Films.
Alongside writing for BAFTA-nominated indie Visionality, she ghostwrites material for British and American standup comedians.
Her award-winning public speaking career has expanded, and she’s recently given sessions for the BFI/Film London, Industry & Baltic Events Tallinn, The Writer’s Guild, NFTS, Institute of Neurodiversity, Bolton Film Festival, Manchester Film Festival, etc.
Having recently expanded her work to Europe, she’s becoming a regular, running industry sessions in Tallinn for Scandi and Eastern European writers. She’s got several collaborations with prolific television writer Leana Jaluske.
Amanda is also a disability consultant for television programming and works with the Institute of Neurodiversity in Geneva, Switzerland for better understanding of neurodivergent social and policy issues. She’s also the host of their new podcast, Neuro Disruptors.
Her self-help book Good Stuff to Read When You’re About to Lose Your Sh*t which gathers everything she learned, tried, and ignored during the worst decade of her life to help others not feel alone) is published on May 31.
Amanda is a BAFTA Connect Member, a TAPStar, was selected for BFI / BAFTA Crew 2021, and Ed TV Fest’s Ones to Watch 2018-2019. She’s a full member and supporter of the WGGB.
