Biography

Adam Rickitt rose to stardom playing Nick Tilsley in the soap opera ‘Coronation Street’ from 1997 to 1999 and again from 2002 to 2004.

Following his hugely successful television career, Adam played Mark Cohen in the award winning musical ‘Rent’ during its 2002 UK tour.

He returned to the West End stage to star in Bill Kenwright‘s production of ‘Office Games’ and this was followed by a role in the new play, ‘Final Judgement’ which his performance won the applause of many industry professionals. He went on to appear in Nick Moran’s wonderful play ‘Telstar’ on its nationwide tour.

Adam also worked on the hugely popular television drama series ‘Judge John Deed’ before joining the cast of the hit soap ‘Shortland Street’ as the enthralling Kieran Mitchell, for five years. He was globally acclaimed for his imaginative and intuitive interpretation of the character.

As his wonderful career continued to grow, Adam won one of the highest industry awards, a Palm d’Or, at the Cannes Film Festival for the feature film ‘Emergency Exit’.

In 2014, he joined the super group 5th Story for its appearance on ITV’s The Big Reunion and most recently Adam returned to the screen as Logan Flynn in the BBC series ‘Doctors’.
